So behind every great idea is, well... An idea. So, this is our big idea.
Before you go any further, you really need to understand idea based marketing and why the “big idea” is so important to us here at ABC. It is far more than a silly tagline or sticker. It is what makes us unique and separates us from our competition.
So where did the idea come from? After hours of discussion and recruiting the assistance of longtime ad guru and friend of ABC, Tony Mikes of Second Wind, we determined that our unique approach to idea generation and the way we approach the needs of companies through these idea based strategies is what differentiates us from our competitors. Simply stated, we have really good ideas. Really. Not lying. Call us and we will show you some.
So, anyway, we figured since we are all about the idea, why not spread the news in our own way? We sat contemplating and feeding our brains endless amounts of coffee when all of a sudden someone said, “hey, doesn’t that window look like the letter i?” “Yeah, and that other one could be the inside of the letter e.”
Awesome, lets do it! So we took a photo of the wall and handed that off to our designers. They worked to create this schizophrenic font that fits the space and poof! We had our template. Once that was birthed, we began to shamelessly self promote ourselves using this little sucker. Obviously we painted our wall with it (our landlord wasn’t incredibly thrilled), we developed T-shirts and hats, which seem only to be worn by us, our friends and our family, and finally, we created our little sticker and slapped it on all of our marketing materials – kind of like our little battle cry, if you will.
